The Chinese name given to the Li Style Daoist Yoga System is “Kaimen Daoyin” which means Opening the Door Guiding & Leading Exercises. These exercises can be performed from a lying, sitting or standing position which can be combined together in a series of short or long sequences or forms. The Daoist Yoga exercises help to develop a more relaxed body by using dynamic stretching actions of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints to release trapped muscular tension and joint stiffness that can affect the circulation of the blood, lymph and Qi.
